Abstract
A resin-chromate composition mainly comprising: (a) 100 parts of a non-volatile organic polymer aqueous emulsion stably dispersed in the aqueous medium, in which the organic polymer comprises 50~92 parts by weight of one or two vinyl monomers selected from methyl acrylate, vinyl acrylate, 5~35 parts by weight of one or two or more of hydroxy-containing monomers selected from 2-hydroxy-ethyl acrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl isobutyrate, 2-hydroxypropyl acrylate, 2-hydroxypropyl isobutyrate, and 3~15 parts by weight of one or more hydroxy-containing monomers selected from acrylic acid, iso-butenoic acid, in which (the gram equivalent of hydroxy)/(the gram equivalent of carboxy) is 0.18~8.6; and (b) 2.5~30 parts by weight of a water-soluble chromium(VI) compound.
