Abstract
A method for recovering high-boiling point solvent which is useful for collecting the gaseous solvent in a gas mixture as a liquid for repeated use, the method comprising the steps: (1) introducing the gas mixture comprising the gaseous solvent through a closed space maintained at a pre-determined pressure and low temperature; (2) introducing the gas mixture or droplet state gas mixture resulting from step (1) into a centrifugal cyclone flow such that solvent droplets are separated from the gas mixture and dust is removed; (3) introducing the gas mixture resulting from step (2) into a closed space maintained at a pre-determined pressure and low temperature such that solvent droplets are formed in the gas mixture; (4) controlling the temperatures such that the temperature in the closed space of step (3) is lower than that of step (1); (5) collecting the liquid state solvent resulting from step (1), (2) and (3); and (6) absorbing the residual solvent in the gas mixture from step (c) with active carbon.
