Abstract

Retroreflective sheeting and a method of forming and using such sheeting is described in which a base body is formed with closely spaced microprisms. The microprisms have window facets extending across the body portion in a plane with retroreflecting facets extending from the window facets to apices. Either the base body surfaces or the side facets are textured to deviate the path of light entering and/or retroreflected from the prisms to provide a uniform distribution of light.
