A process of producing fibers used in fiber concrete, which mainly comprises the following steps: (a) preparing polypropylene (PP) membrane into sheet flakes with appropriate width; (b) cooling the PP sheet flakes and embossing them by a cutting embossment roller to form dense interleaved cut configuration on the flakes; (c) heating to soften the flakes; (d) undergoing longitudinal elongation operation on the softened PP flakes for 5 to 7 times its original length so as to increase the elongational strength of the PP flakes; and (e) cutting the elongated PP flakes into fiber flakes according to the required dimensions.
