Abstract

A process of producing metal door, which comprises the following steps: (a) preparing an upper metal door plate and a lower metal door plate, cold pressing holes on the two door plate at positions pre-specified for installation of decoration plate in which the hole edge is formed with downward flange and the left and right sides of the door plates are inwardly folded with clamp piece and the upper and lower sides of the door plates are outwardly folded with lip plates; (b) providing at least one decoration plate in which the decoration plate is installed with hole in which the geometry and size of the hole correspond to the door plate and the decoration plate is formed by spot welding of two frame plates with flanges on the two peripherals and each frame plate is cold pressed with multiple through holes with flange and the interior of the decoration plate is injected with PU foams; (c) providing two sealing strips which comprises protruded frame strips and a thickened iron plate joined on the bottom part of the frame strip in which the sealing strips can be clamped between in the side clamp pieces of the two door plates; (d) separately installing the sealing strips on the side clamp pieces of the lower door plate and closing the upper door plate so as to join the upper door plate and the lower door plate; (e) using hydraulic press to fix the door plates assembled in step (d) and injecting PU foams into the interior space between the upper door plate and the lower door plate; and (f) installing the decoration plate into the hole of the door plate and welding the decoration plate on the flange of the hole to obtain a metal door with window frame decoration plate.
