Abstract
A highly transparent and thermally resistant polyimide-ester, which is a reaction product of the following reactants: (a) 1~90 mole% of at least one imide hydroxyl acid with the following formula: (see claim 1) (b) 5~49.5 mole% of at least one diacid which is selected from p-phthalic acid, m-phthalic acid, o-phthalic acid or their mixture; (c) 5~49.5 mole% of dicarboxyl compound: (see claim 1) in which Y is selected from the group comprising -C(CH3)2-, SO2-, -S-, and -(CH2)m-, m is an integer of 1 to 10, X is selected from the group comprising H, Cl, and Br, and n is an integer of 1 to 4.
