Abstract
An air inlet system with side-pass air current control valve, which comprises branching out at least one side-pass air passage with small cross-sectional area on the main inlet air passage outside the air inlet valve door of a four-stroke engine cylinder, in which the main passage adjacent to the longitudinal of the side-pass passage is installed with a throttle, a control valve is installed in the side-pass passages, in which the valve openings of the throttle and the control valve are controlled by an accelerator link device so that when the engine is at its medium to low load the valve door of the throttle in the main passage is closed and the control valve of the side-pass passage has appropriate opening in order to allow the inlet air flowing through the side-pass passage with small cross-sectional area to increase the air current speed so as to form a strong tumble in the cylinder to obtain dilute air fast combustion effects, and when the engine's load increases gradually, the valve door of the throttle of the main passage opens gradually and the air passage opens correspondingly to increase the inlet air volume efficiency of the engine and increase the maximum horsepower.
