Each line termination gp. contains a number of units (LTUl-LTUx), a gp. coupler (GS), a liner interface unit (LIU), a signal unit (SU), and a gp. processor (GP) of selection information received from subscriber loops or links. The operating system controls the reactivation of processors in the line termination gps. and if necessary the loading of semipermanent data into the memories of decentralised control so that even interlocked recoveries are processed correctly.
