Abstract
A formation process for badminton racket frame, which comprises the following steps: (1) covering composite material: installing a Nylon pipe together with mandrel for the purpose of air-infusion, covering outside of the Nylon pipe with composite material while retaining a bare end with specified distance on one open end of the Nylon pipe; (2) cutting coaxial pipe: preparing a hollow coaxial pipe made of thermoset composite material and cut the pipe into sections with equivalent length of middle pipe of badminton racket; (3) installation of core thread of coaxial pipe: removing the Nylon pipe core shaft prepared in step (1) and tying and sealing one end of the Nylon pipe covered with composite material, through an eduction thread drawing the bare end of Nylon pipe out of one end of coaxial pipe in the axial direction while retaining the section of Nylon pipe covered with composite material on the other end of the coaxial pipe in the axial direction; (4) reinforcement formation: surrounding the sealed end of Nylon pipe on the coaxial pipe and fixing with reinforcement plates to form a model of elliptical head of badminton racket frame; (5) mold pressurization and heating formation: installing the reinforced preformed Nylon pipe and coaxial pipe in the upper mold and the lower mold to be heated while injecting in high pressure air from the bare end of the Nylon pipe in order to uniformly expand the composite material coated on the Nylon pipe to fix on the inner wall of the molds; through the above steps to ensure quality of middle pipe and spherity of badminton racket frame during formation.
