Abstract

One method to overcome the troublesome false alarm action of solid state radiation detection system due to shock or shock wave is claimed. This kind of interference is mainly caused by the nature of the solid state radiation detection head which is sensitive to the shock and shock wave. The preventive procedures are 1. having at least one shock sensing element which is combined with radiation detection head and such element must be very sensitive to the radiation. The characteristics of shock sensitivity of it must satisfy the regulation of anti-shock where the device is applied; 2. combining item 1 with signal amplifier and level discrimination circuit to construrct interference pick-up device which is sensitive to shock and shock wave; 3. transforminghe signal generated from interference pick-up device into a logic signal by single stable state oscillator of multiple harmonic; 4. when shock interference happening, the signal from item 3 can be NAND or NOR with standard logic circuit to prevent the false alarm caused by accepting the interference signal is detected by the radiation strength transformation circuit.
