Abstract

A differential for full time four-wheel drive vehicle, whichprimarily comprises a ring-gear and a differential housing to constitute a planetary arm, within the differential housing a couple of two degree of freedom of planetary gear trains with the same above-mentioned planetary arm are mutually coupled together to form another planetary gear train with three degree of freedom; and one of the two degree of freedom of planetary gear trains are geared with two side gears whose shafts are respectively connected to the wheels when turning with the maximum and minimum turning radius, the other are also geared with two side gears whose shafts are respectively connected to the rest of wheels; as a result, the differential is provided with four output shafts so as to full time drive the four wheels respectively.
