Abstract

Disclosed is a method of providing discount coupon information in a service of an electronic device including receiving a first input from a user terminal, identifying a store corresponding to the first input, identifying at least one discount coupon associated with the identified store, identifying a first set of valid coupons among the at least one discount coupon, identifying, in the first set of coupons, a first subset applied to all items of the store and a second subset applied to a specific item of the store, identifying maximum discount amount information of the store based on the first subset and the second subset, and providing, in response to the first input, the user terminal with a first page containing the maximum discount amount information of the store.

Method for providing coupon information and electronic device using the method

The present invention relates to a method for providing coupon information and an electronic device using the method.

With the development of mobile devices including smart phones, the number of users using subscription service platforms is increasing. Specifically, as shopping malls shift from offline to online, the frequency of ordering items from ordering service platforms is increasing.

New users of subscription service platforms tend to consume rationally by purchasing various items at the lowest prices. Utilizing coupons in the service can lead users to rational consumption. Therefore, the service platform needs to prepare a way to provide information about coupons that can be used at the time of ordering.

In this regard, previous documents such as Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1633172 can be referred to.

[Technical target]

An aspect of the present invention provides a method of providing a user with information on applicable coupons on a specific page in a service for ordering items from a store and an electronic device using the method.

Another aspect of the invention allows a minimum payment amount by matching information about coupons in a service to users.

The technical aspects of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned aspects, but other technical aspects can be inferred from the following example embodiments. [Technical solution]

According to an aspect, there is provided a method for providing coupon information in a service of an electronic device, the method comprising: receiving a first input from a user terminal; identifying a shop corresponding to the first input; identifying at least one coupon associated with the identified store; identifying a first set of active coupons in the at least one coupon; identifying a first subset of all items applicable to the store in the first set of coupons set and a second subset of a particular item applicable to the store; identify maximum discount amount information for the store based on the first subset and the second subset; The terminal provides a first page containing the maximum discount amount information of the store.

According to another aspect, an electronic device for providing coupon information in a service is provided, and the electronic device includes a transceiver, a memory and a processor. FIG. 1 is a block diagram of an apparatus for providing coupon information in a service according to various example embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 1, an electronic device 100, a user terminal 200 and an external device 300 can respectively send data to and receive data from different nodes, and each of these nodes can be connected through a network.

The electronic device 100 may be a device associated with a subscription service. A user may order a predetermined item sold in a store registered in the order service. The ordering service may include a service platform that provides a food ordering service, an article ordering service, a logistics ordering service, and the like. The electronic device 100 may include a device for overall management and operation of a subscription service platform, and may be a server for providing subscription services.

The electronic device 100 may include a processor, a transceiver, and a storage unit as internal components, but it is not limited thereto. The processor of the electronic device 100 may process a series of operations for performing the information providing method according to various example embodiments of the present invention. The processor can control other components of the electronic device 100 .

The transceiver of the electronic device 100 may perform a function of transmitting information stored in a storage unit of the electronic device 100 or information processed by a processor to another device or receiving information from another device to the electronic device 100 . For example, the electronic device 100 can exchange information with the user terminal 200 and the external device 300 through the transceiver.

The storage component of the electronic device 100 is a data structure implemented in a predetermined storage space of the electronic device 100, wherein functions such as storing, searching, deleting, editing or adding data can be freely performed. For example, a storage component may have fields or elements for handling functions such as storing, searching, deleting, editing or adding data. As another example, the storage component may be provided in a separate cloud server or a database server. The electronic device 100 can obtain and identify the information provided by the subscription service from the storage unit.

The electronic device 100 may load information associated with an account of a user who has subscribed to the service and is using the service from the storage unit. For example, information associated with a user's account may include an order fulfillment list associated with orders completed using the user's account, information regarding a list of reserved coupons downloaded to the user's account, and the like.

The electronic device 100 may store coupon information related to a store registered in the order service and coupon information usable throughout the order service in the storage unit. That is, coupon information corresponding to a store and coupon information corresponding to an order service may be stored in the storage unit.

Depending on the example embodiment, the electronic device 100 may receive store-related coupon information from the external device 300 through the transceiver. The external device 300 may include a terminal owned by a shop owner who is an operator of a shop registered for the service. After the external device 300 owned by the free shop owner receives the applicable coupon information in the individual store, the electronic device 100 may update the store-related coupon information. The update of the electronic device 100 may be an operation of updating store-related coupon information previously stored in the storage unit.

The user terminal 200 may include a device connected to the electronic device 100 via a network through an internal communication component or a transceiver. For example, the user terminal 200 may be a terminal owned by a user using the subscription service. Specifically, the user can access the ordering service through the user terminal 200 and place an order in a registered store. The store list provided to the user may basically include stores within a specific range based on the user's location information. As another example, the store list may include stores within a certain range based on delivery location information set by the user. As yet another example, the store list may include stores that can be delivered to a corresponding location based on the user's location information or the delivery location information set by the user. Here, the location information of the user can use the GPS information of the user terminal 200, but it is not limited thereto.

The external device 300 may include a terminal owned by the shop owner who registered for the service. As another example, the external device 300 may be a separate server that manages the store. A separate server for managing the store may be configured as a server separate from the electronic device 100 . The external device 300 may include a device connected to the electronic device 100 via a network through an internal communication component or a transceiver. Depending on example embodiments, the external device 300 may be a device that provides coupon information related to a store registered for the service to the electronic device 100 .

FIG. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a method for providing coupon information according to various example embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 2 , an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) can provide coupon information in the service to a user using a subscription service. The user can recognize the general information of the store, the information of the items sold in the store, and the coupon information related to the store at a glance on a page of an individual store provided by the electronic device.

In operation S210, the electronic device may identify a store corresponding to a first input. The first input may be an input performed by a user through a user terminal (such as the user terminal 200 in FIG. 1 ). The electronic device can receive a first input from the user terminal. For example, the first input may correspond to an input that clicks into any one of the at least one store for which information is provided by the service. That is, the first input may be an input for selecting a specific store and entering a page of the selected specific store.

In operation S220, the electronic device may identify one of the coupons related to the store. Store-related coupons may contain at least one coupon. The electronic device may identify a coupon list applicable to the store identified according to the first input received in operation S210. For example, a coupon list may contain one coupon that applies to all items in the store or one coupon that applies to only one specific item in the store.

In operation S230, the electronic device may identify a set of valid coupons. The set of active coupons may correspond to the first set of coupons. The first set of coupons may include a first subset and a second subset. For example, the first subset may correspond to a set of coupons applicable to all items in the store. As another example, the second subset may correspond to a set of coupons applicable to a particular item in the store.

In operation S240, the electronic device may identify maximum discount amount information in the store. The maximum discount amount information in the store may include the sum of one of the maximum discount amounts for coupons applicable in the store. For example, when one of the 2,000 won coupons included in the first subset and one of the 3,000 won coupons included in the second subset are the largest discounts in each group, the largest discount in the store The discount amount can be 5,000 won. In this case, the electronic device may recognize the maximum discount amount information in the store as 5,000 won.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may identify a maximum discount amount in a first subset of all items corresponding to a selected store. In addition, the electronic device can identify a maximum discount amount in the second subset of specific items corresponding to the selected store. Specifically, the electronic device can recognize the sum of the maximum discount amounts contained in the coupons in the first subset and the second subset as the maximum discount amount information in the store.

In operation S250, the electronic device may provide the user terminal with a first page containing information of the maximum discount amount. The first page may correspond to a page of a particular store entered according to the first input. The electronic device can provide maximum discount amount information on at least a part of the first page. Maximum discount amount information may be provided in a separate section with a link. The first page will be described through the example in Figure 3.

3 is an illustration of a page on which coupon information is provided, according to various example embodiments of the invention.

Referring to FIG. 3 , there is shown one of a specific store provided by an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) according to a first input received from a user terminal (such as the user terminal 200 of FIG. 1 ). An instance of page 310 (eg, the first page).

The page 310 for a specific store may include store summary information 320 , coupon information 330 related to the store, and sale item information 340 for the store. Store summary information 320 may include, but is not limited to, store name information, store rating information, store review information, store estimated delivery time information, store delivery fee information, store minimum order amount information, and the like. The sales item information 340 of the store may include (but not limited to) item category information, item name information, item original price information, item discount amount information, coupon information applicable to the item, item image information and the like.

The store-related coupon information 330 may include maximum discount amount information. For example, when the sum of one of the largest discount amounts of coupons applicable in a store is 5,000 won, the store-related coupon information 330 may include a phrase "coupon up to 5,000 won".

Depending on example embodiments, store-related coupon information 330 may include a link. The link may correspond to one of the links for downloading one of the coupons applicable to the store. One of the inputs for selecting a predetermined area in which store-related coupon information 330 is provided may be a coupon download request. After obtaining a selection input of store-related coupon information 330, the electronic device may provide a page (eg, a second page) containing a list of coupons from which store-related coupons can be downloaded.

FIG. 4 is a schematic flowchart of providing a coupon list according to various example embodiments of the present invention.

In operation S410, an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) may receive a coupon download request. The electronic device may receive a coupon download request corresponding to a selected store from a user terminal (such as the user terminal 200 in FIG. 1 ). For example, a coupon download request may be one of the inputs for selecting an area in which store-related coupon information 330 of FIG. 3 is provided. As another example, the coupon download request may be an input for selecting a particular area in which coupon information 562 corresponding to a particular item is provided within a page of the particular item of FIG. 5C. As yet another example, the coupon download request may be a request for identifying a downloadable coupon in a coupon-related page of an ordering service (eg, my page, etc.).

In operation S420, the electronic device may provide a second page including a coupon list including the first subset and the second subset. The first set of coupons may include a first subset and a second subset. The coupon list may include at least one of the first set of coupons, the second set of coupons, and the third set of coupons. For example, the coupon list may be a coupon list applicable to one of the stores.

According to an example embodiment, the second page may be one on which a list of coupons is provided. The second page will be described through the example of Fig. 5B.

FIG. 5A to FIG. 5C are illustration diagrams of the process in FIG. 4 .

The general description of FIG. 5A is replaced with the description of FIG. 3 . Referring to FIG. 5A , a first page 500 (such as the page 310 of a specific store in FIG. 3 ) contains store-related coupon information 510 (such as store-related coupon information 330 in FIG. 3 ).

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may receive an input of one of predetermined areas in which store-related coupon information 510 is provided. Entry of a predetermined area where store-related coupon information 510 is provided may correspond to a coupon download request corresponding to a store. After receiving the coupon download request corresponding to the store, the electronic device may switch the page from FIG. 5A to FIG. 5B and provide it to a user terminal (such as the user terminal 200 of FIG. 1 ).

Referring to FIG. 5B, a second page 520 may include a list of coupons applicable to a particular store. The coupon list may include a first subset 530 and a second subset 540 . In FIG. 5B , the coupons included in the first subset 530 or the second subset 540 may be updated according to information received from an external device (eg, the external device 300 of FIG. 1 ). The information shown and described in the first subset 530 corresponds to the individual information of the coupons included in the second subset 540 and the descriptions may be substituted.

The first subset 530 may include at least one of application category information 531 , discount amount information 532 , information about applicability of other coupons 533 , and download request information 534 and 541 . Information about applicability of other coupons 533 may include information about whether they apply to a particular store.

According to an example embodiment, the application category information 531 may include category information to which the coupons included in the first subset 530 are applicable. For example, a "store" indication in FIG. 5B may indicate a category applicable to the corresponding store. That is, its indicated category applies to all items in the store.

As another example, the category information applicable to the coupons included in the second subset 540 may be different than the category information applicable to the coupons included in the first subset 530 . For example, a "menu" indication in FIG. 5B may indicate a category of particular items applicable to the corresponding store. That is, it indicates that the category applies to a specific item in the store. For a specific item, the name information of the specific item can be written side by side with the "menu" indication. For example, the name information of a specific item may be "cheese cake", "tiramisu" or "latte set".

Depending on the example embodiment, the download request information 534 and 541 includes a selection field for downloading a coupon included in the first subset 530 or the second subset 540 within the second page 520 . The download request information 534 and 541 may include coupon download status information and coupon expiry date information. Coupon download status information may include "get coupon" corresponding to the downloadable status of the coupon, "download complete" corresponding to the status of the coupon downloaded, and "expired" corresponding to the status of the coupon that has expired and cannot be downloaded ". Coupon expiration date information may include information about the expiration date on which the coupon can be used.

According to an example embodiment, when the user has not downloaded the coupons of the first subset 530, the download request information 534 and 541 of FIG. 5B include the information of "obtain coupons". According to another example embodiment, when the user has downloaded the coupons of the second subset 540, the download request information 534 and 541 includes the information of "download complete".

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may receive an input of a coupon bulk download. The user can select a specific area in which the coupon bulk download information 550 of FIG. 5B is provided. After receiving an input of a coupon bulk download, the electronic device may update information about the coupons downloaded by the user. Users can view information about downloading coupons on one of the coupon-related pages of the subscription service (such as my page, etc.). In addition, the user can check the downloadable coupons and the downloaded coupons on the second page 520 .

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device can control the user terminal to display the first subset 530 above the second subset 540 in the coupon list. The display control of the coupon list is not limited to this.

According to an example embodiment, a coupon application input by a user may be performed on the second page 520 of FIG. 5B . For example, the user may apply the selected coupon using one of the inputs for selecting a predetermined area containing the downloaded coupon. This explanation assumes that the coupon has not been applied. As another example, in a state in which a coupon has been applied, the user may cancel the application of the coupon selected by the input for selecting a predetermined area containing the downloaded coupon. That is, the selected coupon may be applied or not applied according to one of the inputs for selecting a predetermined area containing the downloaded coupon.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may control to apply all coupons corresponding to the maximum discount amount applicable to the store. For example, even if the user has not downloaded one of the coupons included in the first subset 530 and the second subset 540, the electronic device can automatically download and apply the coupon corresponding to the maximum discount amount to provide the user with the maximum discount amount . In this case, the electronic device may indicate all the download request information 534 and 541 on the second page 520 as information of "download complete". That is, the electronic device can be optimized to minimize the user's order amount through the subscription service.

According to an example embodiment, the first set of coupons may include a fixed amount coupon for discounting a certain amount and a flat rate coupon for discounting a certain percentage. When calculating the amount, the electronic device can apply the coupon to minimize the user's order amount. For example, if the second subset 540 includes a fixed-amount coupon of "3,000 won discount" and a fixed-rate coupon of "10% discount", the electronic device may have a selective application of "cheesecake" in FIG. 5A One of the coupons for a larger discount amount. That is, the electronic device can be set to apply the fixed-amount coupon of "3,000 won discount" to an order of "cheesecake" whose original price is "23,000 won". This is because the electronic device can be set to calculate the price depending on the discount amount applied to the individual coupon.

According to another example embodiment, when a fixed-amount coupon of "2,000 won discount" and a fixed-rate coupon of "10% discount" are included in the first subset 530, the electronic device may be based on the included coupons applicable to the entire The characteristics of the coupons in the first subset of payout amounts 530 are used to selectively apply coupons with a greater discount amount. That is, in the payment page 1320 of FIG. 13B , the electronic device can compare the discount amount of the fixed-amount coupon of "2000 won discount" with the discount amount of the fixed-rate coupon of "10% discount". In this case, the electronic device can confirm that the discount amount (for example, the discount amount excluding the "delivery fee") of the fixed rate coupon of "10% discount" is "4,600 won discount". Then, the electronic device can finally calculate the total payment amount of FIG. 13B as "43,400 won" by applying the flat-rate coupon resulting in "4,600 won discount".

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may apply a coupon with a minimum payment amount to the store based on coupon list information retained by the user. That is, the electronic device can apply the coupon to maximize the discount amount in the store. Based on the coupon information in the real-time identification service, the electronic device can provide the user with information about the coupons that the user has not downloaded yet. In addition, the electronic device can compare the discount amount of the undownloaded coupon with the discount amount of other coupons. When the discount amount of the undownloaded coupons is greater than the discount amount of the coupons included in the reserved coupon list, the electronic device may provide a guide message notifying the undownloaded coupons as a recommended coupon.

In response to any one of the inputs for selecting a predetermined area in which the item of FIG. 5A is provided, the electronic device may provide a page 560 of the selected item of FIG. 5C . For example, the selected item could be "Cheesecake".

Referring to FIG. 5C , a page 560 of a selected item may include at least one of item name information 561 , item-related coupon information 562 , price and quantity information 563 , and shopping cart information 564 . FIG. 5C is an example of a specific item in a store, and the specific item may be an item for which a coupon included in the second subset 540 is applicable.

Item-related coupon information 562 may include information about coupons applicable to a particular item. The item-related coupon information 562 may include coupon amount information and coupon download request link information. The user can download the corresponding coupon by selecting a specific area in which the item-related coupon information 562 is provided. Here, the coupon may be one coupon applicable only to the specific item "cheesecake" in FIG. 5C. That is, if it is not a specific item, the item-related coupon information 562 in FIG. 5C is not provided.

6 is a schematic flow diagram of providing information associated with one of the coupons that is invalid, according to various example embodiments of the invention.

In operation S610, an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) may recognize a second group of coupons. The second set of coupons may be a set of coupons that includes an invalid coupon. For example, the second set of coupons may include an expired coupon. As another example, the second set of coupons may include a coupon in a first store, but applicable to a second store offered on a second page (eg, second page 520 of FIG. 5B ). That is, the second set of coupons may include one coupon that is not applicable to a particular store.

In operation S620, the electronic device may provide invalidation reason information. One of the coupon lists on the second page contains a second set of coupons. Additionally, the list of coupons may include a third subset of the second set of coupons that meet a specified condition. In particular, the third subset may correspond to expired coupons.

According to an example embodiment, the second page may include invalidation reason information for the third subset of coupons. The reason for invalidation information may include one of the reasons why the coupons included in the third subset of coupons are not applicable. The invalid reason information of the third coupon subset will be described through the example in FIG. 7 .

FIG. 7 is an example diagram of the flow in FIG. 6 .

FIG. 7 can be an example of a second page 700 (such as the second page 520 of FIG. 5B ). An electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) can provide a coupon list on the second page 700 . The coupon list may include a first set of coupons 710 and a second set of coupons 720 .

In an example embodiment, the electronic device may provide information 711 of a status in which a coupon is applied. In another example embodiment, the electronic device may provide information of a status in which a coupon is not applied. The information 711 of the state of applying coupons includes the information of "applying coupons". The information of the state where the coupon is not applied may not contain any information.

In an example embodiment, the electronic device may provide invalidity reason information 721 for the third subset of coupons included in the second set of coupons 720 . For example, the invalid reason information 721 includes information of "expired".

According to an example embodiment, the second set of coupons 720 may be displayed in a different manner than the first set of coupons 710 because it contains coupons that are not applicable to the store. To indicate that the first set of coupons 710 is in an applicable state, the electronic device can control it to be displayed in a color corresponding to the active state. As another example, to indicate that the second set of coupons 720 is in an unavailable state, the electronic device can control it to be displayed in black and white to correspond to the inactive state. That is, the electronic device can control the status of individual coupons to be displayed (eg, enabled or disabled), so that the user can recognize at a glance whether individual coupons are applicable. This is just an example and not meant to be limiting.

FIG. 8 is a schematic flowchart of updating coupon information according to various example embodiments of the present invention.

In operation S810, an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) may receive coupon information from an external device (such as the external device 300 of FIG. 1 ). In particular, the electronic device may receive information from the store owner regarding a new coupon applicable to a store. The coupon information received from the external device may be information for deleting a previously applicable coupon or adding a new applicable coupon. Referring to FIG. 10 , an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) can briefly provide information about items for sale in a store. FIG. 10 is an enlarged view of "cheese cake" as a specific item in the sales item information 340 of the store in FIG. 3 .

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may provide information 1000 about a specific item. The specific item information 1000 may include the name information 1010 of the specific item, the image information 1020 of the specific item, the original price information 1030 of the specific item, the price information 1040 of a second subset applied to the specific item, and the amount information 1050 of the second subset at least one.

In operation S1210, an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may receive a payment request. The electronic device can receive a payment request from a user terminal (such as the user terminal 200 in FIG. 1 ). The payment request can be made on the page 310 (eg, the first page) of the particular store of FIG. 3 .

FIG. 13B is an example diagram of the payment page 1320 . The payment page 1320 may include at least one of order item information 1330 , coupon change information 1340 , payment amount information 1350 and benefit information 1360 .

Order item information 1330 includes information about the items that the user added to the shopping cart. For example, the order item information 1330 may include name information of individual items, price information of individual items, option information of individual items, discount amount information of individual items, and the like.

The coupon change information 1340 may include information on the number of coupons available to the user, information on the amount of money benefited by applying the coupon, and coupon application change information 1341 . After receiving the user's input of the coupon application change information 1341 , the electronic device may provide the user with information on the reserved coupon list. FIG. 15 is a schematic flowchart of providing a payment page according to various example embodiments of the present invention.

In operation S1510, an electronic device (such as the electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) may obtain a reorder input. The electronic device can identify a user's order history information. Claims (19)

A method for providing coupon information in a service of an electronic device, the method comprising: receiving a first input from a user terminal; identifying a store corresponding to the first input; identifying at least one coupon associated with the identified store; identifying a first set of active coupons of the at least one coupon; identifying in the first set of coupons a first subset of all items applicable to the store and a second subset of items applicable to the store; identifying maximum discount amount information for the store based on the first subset and the second subset; and In response to the first input, a first page containing information of the maximum discount amount of the store is provided to the user terminal. An electronic device for providing coupon information in a service, the electronic device comprising: a transceiver; a memory; and a processor, where the processor is configured to: receiving a first input from a user terminal through the transceiver; identifying a store corresponding to the first input; identifying, via the memory, at least one coupon associated with the identified store; identifying a first set of active coupons of the at least one coupon; identifying in the first set of coupons a first subset of all items applicable to the store and a second subset of items applicable to the store; identifying maximum discount amount information for the store based on the first subset and the second subset; and In response to the first input, a first page containing information of the maximum discount amount of the store is provided to the user terminal.
