An illuminated keyswitch includes a base plate, a membrane switch layer, a keycap, a lifting mechanism, a backlight apparatus, and at least one resilient body. The base plate has at least one firstthrough opening. The membrane switch layer has at least one second through opening. The membrane switch layer is disposed on an upper surface or a lower surface of the base plate such that each second through opening is located above or below the corresponding first through opening. The lifting mechanism is disposed between the base plate and the keycap. The lifting mechanism includes at least one protruding structure. The at least one resilient body is formed on the backlight apparatus. The backlight apparatus is disposed below the base plate such that each resilient body is placed in the corresponding first through opening and the corresponding second through opening. When the keycap is in a pressed position, each protruding structures is placed in the corresponding first through opening and the corresponding second through opening and compresses the corresponding resilient body.
