Abstract

Provided is a shopping basket provided with a basket body capable of storing a commodity and a bottom part attached to the basket body so as to be capable of opening and closing a lower opening of the basket body. When the bottom part closes the lower opening, a commodity can be stored in an internal space enclosed by the basket body and the bottom part. When the bottom part opens the lower opening, the commodity can be removed from the internal space through the lower opening. This shopping basket obviates the need for a user to lift and remove commodities one at a time from an upper opening of the shopping basket when moving the commodities into a storage container.

The upper opening portion 11 is formed by opening the upper surface of the basket body 1. The plate body 22 is composed of two flexible plates 23. The shopping basket 501 of the present embodiment includes the arrangement maintaining unit 4. The end portion 41 of the sheet member 40 is fixed to the periphery of the opening of the lower opening portion 12 on the inner circumferential surface of the basket body 1 above the flexible plate 23.
