Abstract

A sound-signal processing apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: a first signal processing unit that performs linear processing on sound signals of sound waves arriving at a plurality of microphones, to emphasize the sound signals of the sound waves arriving at the plurality of microphones from a first direction that is a target direction and from a second direction that is opposite to the first direction; and a second signal processing unit that performs nonlinear processing on the sound signals emphasized by the first signal processing unit, to emphasize the sound signals of the sound waves arriving at the plurality of microphones from the first direction. Thus, sharp directivity can be obtained in the target direction while suppressing degradation of sound quality.
