Abstract

The present invention discloses a method and system for controlling devices of Internet of things (IoT), which is a distributed control system designed by using IoT wireless technology for controlling a plurality of the device with a sequence of turning on and off, which mainly includes a plurality of management modules with user interface, a gateway, a plurality of routers, and several terminal devices with control module. The administrator may utilize the operation management module to configure the parameters, such as turning on sequence and waiting time, among terminal devices, and may select on the management module to turn on or off any device, and the status of device will be simultaneously displayed on the management. The gateway is responsible for conversion of message formats. The routers are connected with terminal devices and the gateway to ensure the communication between the gateway and terminal devices being smooth. The terminal device with control module may receive the parameters configured by the management module, provide the status, and possesses the communicative capability with other terminal devices. The patent employs the distributed control method allowing the communication between devices in sequence, providing the devices of Internet of things with more intelligence, and reducing the risk of central control only by the central management system. Furthermore, this system also provides the alert and message-resend mechanisms for solving the problem that the wireless network message is more reliable than the wired.
