Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient power supply device for supplying electric power from a battery to a load. SOLUTION: A power supply device (1) has an AC side connected to an AC power source (6), a DC side connected to a current converter (2) of link voltage (Vlink), and a DC-DC converter (3) connected between the link voltage (Vlink) and a battery (4) to charge and discharge the battery (4). The link voltage (Vlink) for discharging the battery (4) is reduced even lower than the voltage on the DC side when passively rectifying the maximum voltage of AC power source (6) using a current converter (2).
