Abstract
A backlight module is provided. The backlight module includes a light guide plate having a light-exiting first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface and a side surface. A transparent medium layer is disposed on the second surface. A light-reflecting layer is disposed under the transparent medium layer and has a plurality of through holes formed therein. A light guide material layer is disposed under the light-reflecting layer and a portion of the light guide material layer fills in the through holes of the light-reflecting layer. A light source is disposed near the side surface of the light guide plate. The portion of the light guide material layer filling in the through holes guides light to the light-exiting first surface. Moreover, a method for fabricating the backlight module and an illuminated keyboard containing the backlight module are also provided.
