Provided is a position sensor which enables space saving. This position sensor is provided with a sheet-shaped optical waveguide W comprising a sheet-shaped core pattern member disposed between an underclad layer and an overclad layer, the sheet-shaped core pattern member being provided with a lattice-shaped part composed of a plurality of linear cores and outer peripheral parts extending from the cores of the lattice-shaped part and bent along the outer periphery of the lattice-shaped part. At least a portion of the bent part of the cores of the outer peripheral part is an angular portion, an outer section of the angular portion is formed as an inclined surface inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the axial direction of the cores, and the inclined surface is a light reflection surface that reflects light and converts an optical path along the angular portion.
