Disclosed is a camera module manufacturing method that has: a transfer step for separately transferring a sensor unit and a lens unit to predetermined areas, respectively; a sensor placing step for placing the sensor unit on a placing stage; an applying step for applying a hardening resin to the sensor unit thus placed; a reference position detection step for detecting the reference position of a lens (L); a reference position setting step for setting the reference position of the lens; an optical axis adjustment step for performing optical axis adjustment between the lens and an image sensor; and a fixing step (180) for fixing the lens unit (LU) with respect to the sensor unit (SU).
