Abstract

The invention provides a cloud partial discharge monitoring and control system and method for an electric power apparatus. The cloud partial discharge monitoring and control system includes a spot cloud, a server cloud and a user cloud. In one embodiment, the spot cloud is configured to obtain discharge detection information related to the electric power apparatus, and determines whether a partial discharge occurs on the electric power apparatus according to the discharge detection information. When the partial discharge occurs on the electric power apparatus, the spot cloud sends notice messages to the server cloud and the user cloud. When the server cloud receives the notice message, the server cloud analyzes the discharge detection information, and sends a corresponding analyzed result to the user cloud. When the user cloud receives the notice message and the analyzed result, the user cloud displays the notice message and the analyzed result for users, and then, if the user think it is necessary, can go through the server cloud to take-over control of spot cloud and making remote-controlled partial discharge measurement to future confirm the severity of the partial discharge state of the power equipment under monitoring.
