Abstract

The present invention relates to a non-woven/aerogel composite insulation material and its preparation method, in order to solve the conventional problems of aerogel preparation process about cumbersome and adverse to mass production. The aforementioned preparation method comprises: mixing an alkoxysilane with the methyl n-silicon in a low aqueous organic solution, and adding an acid catalyst, to carry out a hydrolysis reaction. Adding an alkali catalyst in an andydrous organic solution for performing a condensation reaction and then forming a gelled aerogel. Adding the foregoing aerogel into a non-woven material so that it is fully interspersed in the non-woven material and through a drying process to form a non-woven/aerogel composite insulation material. In this way, the system can produce a large number of non-woven/aerogel composite insulation material for the use of thermal insulation and fireproof.
