Abstract

The present invention discloses an electrodialysis apparatus of purifying bio-succinic acid, the electrodialysis apparatus having four circulating water systems can not only purify succinic acid with high purity, but also fully utilize the fermentation broth as an electrolyte salt. It also takes advantages of water recycling and saving and reuse of fermentation residues. The electrodialysis apparatus for the separation and purification of succinic acid of the present invention can be used with the steps of microbial fermentation, activated carbon adsorption, concentration and/or crystallization to establish a process of bio-succinic acid production applied to industrial production.
