Abstract

A switching device connected between an electronic device and a plurality of detecting devices is used for establishing a connection between the electronic device and a target detecting device in response to a selection signal outputted by the electronic device. The switching device includes a controlling serial port, a number of detecting serial ports, a power supply and a selection unit. The controlling serial port is used for receiving the selection signal generated by the electronic device. The detecting serial ports correspond to the detecting devices respectively and are connected to the corresponding detecting device. The power supply provides a working voltage to the selection unit.
