Abstract

A fan module includes a fan, a shielding cover and a base. The fan includes a first securing board which defines a plurality of first securing holes. The fan module further includes a bracket which comprises a securing piece. The securing pieces define a plurality of vent holes. A plurality of securing members is mounted on the securing piece. The bracket includes two restricting pieces to restrict the shielding cover therebetween. Referring to FIG. 1 , in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a fan module 10 includes a fan 20 , a base 30 , an upper cover 40 , a mounting bracket 50 , and a protective cover 60 .

The fan 20 includes a first fixing plate 21 and a second fixing plate 22. The first fixing plate 21 is parallel to the second fixing plate 22. The first fixing plate 21 has a plurality of first locking holes 211 at the four corners thereof. A plurality of second locking holes 221 are defined at four corners of the fixing plate 22.

The base 30 includes a bottom plate 31 and two side plates 32 perpendicularly connected to opposite edges of the bottom plate 31. A connecting piece 33 is connected to the upper ends of the two side plates 32. Two first through holes 321 and two second fixing holes are oppositely defined on the two side plates 32. 322, each side plate 32 is also provided with two flaps 323, each of which is provided with a locking member 90; the connecting piece 33 is provided with a plurality of fourth fixing holes 331, and the bottom plate 31 is provided with a blocking piece 311 .

Referring to FIG. 2, the locking member 90 is made of an elastically deformable shock absorbing material, such as rubber. The locking member 90 includes a head portion 91 and a rod portion 92 connected to the head portion 91.
