The processing unit 110 analyzes the distance between the user of the above step and the electronic device, the brightness value of the surrounding brightness of the electronic device 300, the file that the electronic device 300 is using, or the type of the application, and transmits the analysis result. The screen adjustment module 140 can adjust the screen parameters accordingly (step S412). Steps S410 and S412 can be analogized with reference to the related description of step S204 and step S206 in FIG. The following examples will further explain the basis for adjusting these parameters.

FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of the situation of the electronic device 300 of FIG. 3 in use. Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 , the electronic device 30 can determine whether to trigger/enable the function of “dynamically adjusting the screen parameters” according to whether the user operates the electronic device 300 or not. When the user's operation behavior does not exist, the processing unit 110 disables the "dynamically adjust picture parameter" function. When the user's operation behavior exists, the processing unit 110 performs a "dynamic adjustment screen parameter" function. In this embodiment, the application scenario of the "dynamically adjusted picture parameter" function is as follows.

In some examples of application scenarios, the "dynamically adjusted picture parameters" function can automatically adjust the picture brightness or backlight intensity according to the brightness of the surrounding environment. If the user uses the electronic device 300 to view the video file of the video type, the processing unit 110 can adjust the brightness of the screen or the backlight intensity according to the brightness value of the surrounding environment detected by the light source sensor 352. . For example, when the surrounding environment is dark, the backlight intensity can be reduced; conversely, when the surrounding environment is brighter, the backlight intensity can be improved.

In another example of an application scenario, the "dynamically adjusting picture parameters" function can automatically adjust picture parameters according to the distance and/or direction between the user and the electronic device 300. It is assumed that the electronic device 300 is placed at an oblique angle of 90 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane, and the user is located at a position where the center of the electronic device 300 is at an angle of θ and a distance of d. That is, the angle between the line of sight direction of the user and the normal direction of the screen of the electronic device 300 is θ. The processing unit 110 can obtain an image of the user via the image capturing device 356. By analyzing the image, the processing unit 110 can determine the direction angle θ of the user and determine the distance d between the user and the electronic device 300, as shown in FIG. When the distance d is larger, the processing unit 110 can enhance the screen contrast, the screen saturation, the screen sharpness, and/or the backlight intensity through the screen adjustment module 140, and may even increase the volume of the sound. On the contrary, when the distance d obtained by the image capturing device 356 is small, the processing unit 110 can reduce the screen contrast, the image saturation, the sharpness of the image, and/or the intensity of the backlight through the screen adjusting module 140, and even reduce the sound. volume.

In another example of an application scenario, the "dynamically adjusting picture parameters" The function can automatically adjust picture parameters (eg, gamma curves) according to the content of the electronic device 300 (eg, video content). The processing unit 110 can perform gamma correction through the screen adjustment module 140 to enhance the performance of the video. In the case that the video content itself is dark, the gamma value can be less than one to improve the grayscale contrast and detail visibility of the dark scene in the video; for the general brightness of the video content, the gamma value can be used. A value close to 1 or slightly less than 1; and if the overall picture of the video content is too bright, since the picture is too bright to make the video content lack contrast and layering, a value with a Gamma value greater than 1 can be used to enhance the video. Brightness of the scene and visibility of the details.

In another embodiment, the “dynamic adjustment screen parameter” function may automatically adjust screen parameters (such as screen brightness or according to the usage content of the electronic device 300 (eg, file type) and the environment of the electronic device 300 (eg, ambient brightness). Is the backlight intensity). It is assumed that when the electronic device 300 views the text file, the processing unit 110 can adjust the brightness of the screen or the backlight intensity through the screen adjustment module 140 according to the brightness value of the surrounding environment.

In an example of a more application scenario, the "dynamically adjusting picture parameter" function can automatically adjust the picture according to the usage content (eg, file type) of the electronic device 300 and the distance and/or direction between the user and the electronic device 300. parameter. It is assumed that the angle between the line of sight of the user and the normal direction of the screen of the electronic device 300 is θ, and the distance between the user and the electronic device 300 is d, as shown in FIG. The processing unit 110 can analyze the user image captured by the image capturing device 356. Like, the direction angle θ and the distance d are judged. It is assumed that the user views the text file on the electronic device 300. When the distance d is larger, the processing unit 110 can enhance the screen contrast, the sharpness of the screen, and the backlight intensity through the screen adjustment module 140, and even enlarge the font of the text file. On the other hand, when the distance d is small, the processing unit 110 can reduce the screen contrast, the sharpness of the screen, and the backlight intensity through the screen adjustment module 140, and can even reduce the font of the text file.

In other examples of application scenarios, the "dynamically adjusted picture parameters" function can automatically adjust picture parameters according to the usage content of the electronic device 300 (eg, opening a file). In an embodiment of the invention, when the user operates the electronic device 300 to open/use a new file, the operation detecting module 120 can detect the user's operating behavior on the electronic device 300. When the user's operation behavior exists, the file detection unit 360 can detect the new file opened/used by the user. Therefore, the processing unit 110 can view the screen of the electronic device 300 through the screen adjustment module 140 according to the file type. The parameters are adjusted to provide the user with a more appropriate operational situational need.

It is worth mentioning that when the user's operation behavior does not exist, the processing unit 110 does not detect the change of the environment and/or the content of the electronic device 300, and does not change according to the environment and/or the electronic device. The content of the 300 is used to dynamically adjust the picture parameters. Therefore, the electronic device 300 can reduce the power consumption caused by the continuous dynamic detection, and avoid the discomfort of the eyes caused by the user constantly changing the picture parameters.

The present invention further provides a computer program product for performing the above steps of a method for controlling picture parameters of an electronic device, the computer program product is basically Composed of a plurality of code segments (for example, detecting a user's operating behavior segment, detecting an environment of the electronic device and/or using a content segment of the electronic device, and adjusting a picture parameter segment of the electronic device), and the code After the segment is loaded into the electronic device and executed, the above method of controlling the screen parameters of the electronic device can be completed.

In summary, the electronic device can detect the user's operating behavior on the electronic device by operating the detection module. When the operation behavior exists, the electronic device can detect the environment and/or the content of the electronic device by using the condition detection module, and then adjust the picture parameters according to the detection result. That is to say, the electronic device can decide whether to perform the operation of dynamically adjusting the picture parameters according to whether the user has an operation behavior of the electronic device. Therefore, the power consumption of the electronic device can be reduced, and the eye discomfort caused by frequent dynamic adjustment of the picture parameters during the process of watching the electronic device screen is avoided. In addition, the electronic device can adjust the picture parameters to conform to the user's operating situation according to the environment and the use content, so as to enhance the user experience.
