Abstract

A display module includes a display panel, a cover plate, and a compressible tape. The display panel includes substrate set having a display surface and a polarizing layer attached on the display surface. The polarizing layer has a first edge forming a stage difference. The cover plate is disposed on the outer side of the substrate set allowing the display surface to display images through the cover plate. A compressible tape is disposed between the substrate set and the cover plate and extends along the first edge. The compressible tape covers the polarizing layer, the substrate layer, and the stage difference, wherein the thickness of the compressible tape covering on the polarizing layer is smaller than that of the compressible tape covering on the substrate set.
