Abstract

The present invention provides a computational control method for a state machine of a touch type mouse device for controlling a plurality of touch areas with predefined functions on a touchpad. The method includes the following steps: receiving the outputted logic parameter for the touch area on the touchpad touched at a first time point; outputting the pre-defined logic parameters for a plurality of neighbored touch areas possibly being touched at the next time point based on the logic parameter; determining if the logic parameter for the touch area being touched at the next time point is one of the outputted plurality of logic parameters; and obtaining a corresponding pre-defined function control signal based on the logic parameter for the touch area being touched at the first time point and the logic parameters for the touch area being touched at the next time point. Thus, the present invention employs the pre-defined logic parameters for a plurality of neighbored touch areas to obtain a control signal after comparison to reduce the computational complexity, and thereby achieve the effects of increasing of operational speed and reduction of system work loads.
