Abstract

A horizontal convection fan is disclosed. The horizontal convection fan comprises a frame, a fan wheel and a cover. The frame has a shaft base configured on a bottom plate. The fan wheel is rotatably mounted on the shaft base. The bottom plate has a sidewall configured at outer circumference of shaft base. The sidewall has an air-guiding portion, a separation portion and an air-dividing portion. An air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the separation portion. An air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-dividing portion. The separation portion has a first end connecting to the air inlet and a second end extending to the air outlet. The air-dividing portion is mounted on the second end. The cover is mounted on the top face of the sidewall of the frame. Consequently, it can reduce the inversion airflow of the horizontal convection fan and avoid the turbulent flow by the separation portion and the air-dividing portion.
