Description of the Invention: TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention generally relates to packaging of electronic components. More specifically, the various inventive methods and apparatus disclosed herein relate to integrating a passive noise filtering component into an outer casing of an electronic product. [Prior Art] Ferrite beads are one of the passive components used to filter or suppress high frequency noise of electronic circuits. The ferrite bead uses a high frequency current consumption in the ferrite to implement a high frequency noise suppression device. Typically, the noise filtering via the ferrite bead is accomplished by placing it or the like around a portion of the wires that provide alternating current (ac) or direct current (DC) power to the electronic product. Ferrite beads are typically soldered to a circuit board that occupies a relatively large area relative to the size of other electronic components on the board. The ferrite bead can also be placed on some or all of the wires away from the bundle of wires of the boards. However, the positioning of the ferrite bead typically creates an intractable "block" in the bundle, potentially making it difficult to route the bundle through a hole or pipe. Positioning the ferrite bead on the bundle may also require the expense and complexity of a separate enclosure to protect the ferrite bead. Therefore, in this technology, the ferrite bead needs to be positioned within the outer casing of an electronic product, but avoids occupying valuable space on a circuit board. The circuit board of an electronic product is typically housed in an enclosure for providing protection and/or decorative housing for an electronic product. The grommet can be used to allow some or all of the wires of a bundle to penetrate the wall of the casing without suffering from wear that would occur if the wires are allowed to directly contact the wall of the casing. 153481.doc 201206333 or kink [Inventive content] f Please understand that it is advantageous to understand the combination of the ferrite bead and the grommet to release the valuable space on the board. This configuration will allow bulky filament beads to occupy the outer casing (four) - the void rather than the more valuable space on the board, thereby providing a more compact electronic product. Accordingly, the present invention is directed to an inventive method and apparatus for integrating a ferrule, a ferrite bead, and a bundle of wires into an outer casing of an electronic product. Generally speaking, the present invention relates to an electronic noise filtering component comprising a guard ring and a ferrite bead disposed at least partially in the chamber. The ferrite bead defines an opening therethrough for receiving at least one of the wires, the grommet may be formed by at least two components or sides that are connectable together to form the chamber. The grommet may also be included The ferrite bead is fixed to at least one tab of the chamber. In another aspect, the present invention generally relates to an electronic device including at least one circuit board disposed in a housing having a wall, further connected to at least one wire of the circuit board; attached to the housing And defining a guard ring of a chamber; and a ferrite bead at least partially disposed within the chamber, the ferrite bead defining a passage therethrough for passing a wire from the circuit board out of the outer casing One of the openings. The grommet defines at least one slot for attaching it to the wall of the outer casing. The grommet may be formed from two pieces or sides that may be joined together to form the chamber. The grommet may also include at least one tab for securing the ferrite bead within the chamber. In various embodiments, the ferrite bead can be formed as a single article having a single opening for one of the portions of the wire 153481.doc 201206333. In some embodiments, a portion of the bundle of wires may pass through the opening of the ferrite bead once. In some embodiments, a portion of the bundle of wires will pass through the opening more than once to form one or more wire turns around the ferrite bead. The chamber of the grommet can be configured to accommodate one or more wires. The ferrite bead can also be formed from two or more components in a separate configuration. A plurality of components of the bead may be configured by a chamber of the grommet to form an opening for one of the portions of the bundle. The components of the ferrite bead can be electrically isolated from each other by the configuration of the chamber. In some embodiments, a portion of the wire bundle can pass through the opening of the ferrite bead once. In other embodiments, a portion of the bundle of wires will pass through the opening more than once to form one or more turns around the ferrite bead. The chamber of the grommet can be configured to receive one or more wire turns. In yet another aspect, the ferrite bead will be substantially solid and have an opening or openings of substantially the same size as the individual wires or wires passing through the ferrite bead. In some embodiments, the wire or wires will pass the ferrite bead more than once to form one or more wire resistances around the ferrite bead, wherein each pass of the wire may be via Different openings 〇 In some embodiments, the wire of the wire bundle can pass through the grommet ring by entering one side of the grommet ring and exiting through the second side of the grommet ring. In other embodiments, the wires of the bundle of wires can enter and exit through the same face of the grommet. In some embodiments, the grommet may be maintained by one of the degrees of flexibility 153481.doc 201206333, which may be formed such that the collapsible relative stiffness material is formed. When such a material is used, it is flexible such that it can be formed in an open configuration, the ring forming a chamber that surrounds the ferrite bead while allowing one of the bundles of wires to pass through the grommet. The folded grommet can then be inserted or snapped into the housing. In some embodiments, the grommet may be made of rubber or any other flexible material. When a flexible material is used, the grommet can be formed from a single piece such that the ferrite bead and the bundle of wires can be snapped into the grommet.

In an alternative option, the ferrite bead comprising a portion of the bundle of wires after the grommet has been snapped into the housing can be snapped into the 护H. In still another alternative, after the grommet ring and the ferrite bead have been snapped into the housing, the wire can pass through the opening of the ferrite bead. The term "wire bundle" as used herein refers to a group of one or more individual wires. Each wire is made of a conductive material and may or may not be insulated. The wires carry alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) to the board. These wires can also carry electrical signals. The term "guard ring" is used herein to mean a device that can be designed to protect one or more of the wires that penetrate the electronic housing. The grommet can also be used to prevent damage to the board when the conductor or the conductor is pulled up. This feature is usually referred to as "strain relief." The ferrite bead may be a one-piece assembly having one or more openings sized to pass wires from the bundle of wires through the ferrite bead. 153481.doc 201206333 This opening allows the wire to pass easily a single pass or to allow the wire to pass through the opening several times. The ferrite bead may also include two or more components configured to facilitate direct passage of wires from the bundle of wires through a single opening of the ferrite bead. The components may or may not be separated from each other via an insulating material. Although the figures illustrate a circular cross-section of several embodiments of the ferrite bead, other embodiments include alternative cross-sections, such as square or rectangular. Similarly, the figures illustrate several implementations of the ferrite bead. One of the openings of the example has a circular cross section, but other embodiments include alternative cross sections, such as square or rectangular. The term "snap" means forcing a portion of an article to pass through an opening that is slightly larger than one of the openings. Since the article is composed of a material that allows one portion of the article to bend or fold in a manner that does not damage the article through the opening, forcing the article through the opening is not destructive. After having forced a portion of the article through the opening, the portion will expand or expand such that a portion of the article is again larger than the opening. The portion of the article that does not pass through the opening is also larger than the opening. The result of forcing the program (i.e., "snap") is to retain the item in the opening of the stiffness object. As an example, the flexible object can be a plastic component having a foldable portion and a stiffness portion. • The stiffness object can be a sheet metal housing with a circular opening. The snap program secures the plastic component to the sheet metal housing. The term "housing" means to surround or partially enclose a cavity or compartment of at least one circuit board. The outer casing can be made of a relatively thin material composed of metal or plastic. The housing may have an opening that allows a wire harness to lead to the interior of the chamber and to the circuit board. 15348 丨.doc 201206333 It should be understood that all combinations of the foregoing concepts and additional concepts discussed in greater detail below (as long as such concepts are not inconsistent with each other) are contemplated as part of the subject matter of the invention as disclosed herein. In particular, all combinations of claimed subject matter that are present at the end of the disclosure are intended to be part of the subject matter of the invention as disclosed herein. It is also to be understood that the terms used in any of the disclosures, which are expressly incorporated herein by reference, are intended to be accorded to the meaning of the specific concepts disclosed herein. [Embodiment] In the drawings, like reference numerals generally refer to the same parts throughout the different views. In addition, the drawings are not necessarily to scale, the Applicants have recognized and appreciated that it would be advantageous to combine a ferrite bead with a grommet to release the area of the board occupied by the ferrite bead. Combining the ferrite bead with a grommet will allow a bulky ferrite bead to occupy a gap in the housing rather than a more valuable space on the board, thus allowing for a more compact electronic product. In the following. Representative embodiments of the specific details are set forth to provide a thorough understanding of the invention. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art from this disclosure that other embodiments of the specific details disclosed herein are disclosed in the appended claims & Descriptions of well-known devices and methods are omitted to avoid obscuring the description of the representative embodiments. These methods and apparatus are expressly within the scope of the present invention. For example, various embodiments of the methods disclosed herein are particularly suited to include a rectangular housing of one of a single circuit board powered by a wire bundle comprised of a single wire. Accordingly, the present invention has been discussed in connection with this configuration for illustrative purposes. However, other configurations and applications of this method are contemplated without departing from the scope or spirit of the invention. Referring to Fig. 1', a ferrite bead 100 having an opening 101 is disposed prior to placement in a foldable grommet 110 in accordance with various embodiments of the present invention. The foldable grommet 11 所示 shown in an unfolded position comprises two component parts or two sides 111 a and 111 b. The sides 111a and 111b may have a groove 112a (not shown) and a groove 112b, respectively. The two sides 1113 and 丨丨丨b can be joined, for example, folded together to secure the ferrite bead 1 一 in a chamber 115 formed between the two. One side of the chamber 115 may include a wall section 'When the foldable guard ring is folded, the wall section forms an opening 114, such that a wire or wires can pass through the foldable guard ring And the ferrite bead 100, but prevents the ferrite bead from falling out of the chamber 115. The other side of the chamber has two tabs 113 & and U3b for securing the ferrite bead within the chamber 115. A tab 113a can be attached to the side 111a of the foldable grommet. A tab U3b can be attached to the side 111b of the foldable grommet.
