Abstract
Provided is an offset roll wherein a blanket can exert the initial properties thereof over a long period of time, and as a result, it is possible to maintain a high printing precision. An offset roll (20) is characterized by being configured from a metal roll (21) and a blanket (22). The metal roll (21) has a pore (23) which is filled with resin. The offset roll (20) is provided with a protective means (40) for preventing the blanket (22) from swelling or deteriorating which is caused by the solvent contained in an ink. The protective means (40) forms the pore (23) on the metal roll (21), and is configured as a resin-filled pore structure in which the pore (23) is filled with resin.
