Provided is a video call system, wherein video of a master-side terminal (11) that takes over hegemony is distributed constantly to all the slave-side terminals (12), and video of the slave-side terminals (12) are transmitted to only the master-side terminal (11); and wherein, only the slave-side terminals (12) that were given mutual-communication rights by the master-side terminal (11) are able to transmit video to the master-side terminal (11). With such a system, parties that can transmit and receive video with each other are limited to a portion thereof, even though three parties or more can participate simultaneously, and fear of the communication band becoming insufficient is reduced, even when the video to be exchanged is made to be more high-grade. This system does not require the use of a dedicated line, MCU, or IP multicasting, and can be implemented with a relatively low cost investment.

達到瓶頸。可是,造成白板的板書或文件的文字無法閱讀 、模型或實物的細節看不清楚等等,有損視訊講義或視訊 會議等的意義。 雖然期望所交換的映像之高品質化是人人均等,但是 若對三者以上的人都分別發送高品質的映像,則當場就會 造成通訊頻寬不足。一旦通訊頻寬不足,則會發生映像掉 格或是聲音中斷,關於重要話題的講義或會議,已經難謂 合適。爲了避免這點,使用可保證足夠大之最低通訊速度 的非Best 講義或視訊會議等中,能以比較廉價之投資來實現交換映 像之高品質化。 【實施方式】 參照圖面來說明本發明的一實施形態。如圖1所示, 本實施形態的視訊通話系統係被架構成,將分散設置於各 處的終端1,透過網際網路、WAN (Wide Area Network) ' LAN ( Local Area Network)等之電氣通訊線路2,而連 接成彼此可相互通訊。這些終端1當中至少一個會成爲主 側終端1 1,其餘的複數係成爲從側終端1 2。 如圖2所示,終端1係具備處理器1 a、主記憶體1 b、輔 助記憶裝置lc、操作輸入裝置Id、麥克風le、揚聲器If、 音訊編解碼器lg、攝影機lh、顯示器li、視訊編解碼器lj 、通訊介面1 k等之硬體資源,這些係受控制器(系統控制 器、I/O控制器等)11所控制而會協同動作。 輔助記憶裝置1 c,係爲硬碟驅動機、快閃記憶體、光 學碟片驅動機,或其他。
