Abstract

The present invention relates to an LED road lamp to monitor images in real-time, wherein the LED road lamp has a switching power unit, an image capturing device, and a data communication unit of power line. An AC commercial power line of the LED road lamp is connected to the switching power unit to provide DC power for the LED road lamp. Also, the image capturing device and the switching power unit are connected to the data communication unit of power line, so the data communication unit of power line can control the image capturing device and the LED road lamp to photograph clear images of road condition, and transmit the images back to a remote host machine through the power line network in real-time.
