Abstract

The present invention provides an optical feedback system for a luminaire. The optical feedback system is configured to provide a desired level of homogeneity of the contribution from each of the plurality of light-emitting elements in the luminaire, to the light sample that is capture by the light collection device and subsequently detected by the light sensing device. In this manner, the characteristics of the light output by the luminaire can be controlled such that the desired light emitted thereby has desired characteristics.
