Abstract

This invention relates to a driving circuit for making LED backlight source uniform, which at least includes one current control circuit, one or more sets of LED arrays and a plurality of selection switches. A plurality of LEDs are connected in series to form a plurality of LED arrays, and the LED arrays are connected to the current control circuit in parallel, in which selection switches are equipped at different sections between the loops of series-connected LED arrays and the parallel-connected current control circuit. The selection switches can create different current paths in a random manner. Different current paths correspond to different forward voltages so that each LED will have different forward current variation and the corresponding intensity when the driving circuit is switched on the loop. The switching is performed at a frequency beyond that of the persistence of vision of human, enabling the LED to generate flash at nearly the maximum random changing rate for achieving the efficacies of making mixed-light uniform and lowering the LED sorting and binning cost.
