Abstract

The present invention discloses a USB input device and the bandwidth expanding method thereof. After a USB input device and a computer is connected, the present invention declares that the USB input device is a plurality of input devices of the same type, so as to create a plurality of channels to the computer. Then, the USB input device determines whether each channel is idle by means of polling. If the channel is idle, the USB input device would load data to the channel, such that the data would be transferred to the computer via the channel. According to the aforementioned method, the USB input device can utilize each channel to transfer data at the same time, so as to transfer real-time and bulk data. The present invention not only can efficiently expand the bandwidth, but also achieves the object of making a multimedia device to immediately transfer more data.
