Abstract

The present invention relates to a shuttlecock structure and manufacturing method thereof. The shuttlecock mainly comprises a semispherical striking body. The end of the striking body is installed with an air-drag body. The air-drag body and the striking body are jointed together by means of a supporting body which also keeps the air-drag body in a wide-opened conical shape. The main manufacturing method comprises steps of forming the semi-formed air-drag body by cutting the remaining material out of a planar material. Each air drag part is equipped with an extension part that is extended toward the center area; all extension parts are joined together so that all air drag parts are jointed in one single piece. The drag body is then formed in conical shape by thermoforming process with heat pressing method, or by manual or DIY method. Finally, the supporting body is inserted through the drag body and attached to the striking body; thus achieve the purpose of quick shape-forming and assembling. In addition, the structure, texture, and the feeling of striking of the shuttlecock are very similar to those of real feather shuttlecock.
