Abstract
A cold electron ultraviolet lamp is disclosed and comprises a quartz glass tube, a cathode, an anode, and a metal gate between the cathode and the anode. The cathode is formed of a nickel grown with a carbon film thereon. The anode is formed of a conducting layer coated with a fluorescence layer thereon.
