Abstract

A method for testing electrical properties of a pulse-width modulation (PWM) fan is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: storing material parameters of the PWM fan; setting running parameters of the PWM fan, and running PWM fan according to the running parameters; gathering running information of the PWM fan; calculating the electrical property parameters of the PWM fan based on the running information; comparing the electrical property parameters with the material parameters and determining whether the electrical properties of the PWM fan is eligible.
