Abstract

This invention provides a device and a method for measuring coefficient of performance (COP) of refrigeration and air-conditioning chiller. A plural number of temperature detection points of a measurement device are used to measure temperatures at a plural number of positions of the chiller. An enthalpy calculation is performed according to a relative enthalpy chart of temperature and coolant pressure, and the COP of the chiller can be calculated by using a COP equation. Therefore, the COP of the chiller can be easily obtained to allow a user to control the optimal operation state of the chiller. The disclosed device can be installed with a communication transmission component to receive or transmit a temperature signal of the chiller, which can transmit the temperature signal to network monitoring system to achieve portability, network monitoring and increased user convenience.
