Preventing Corrosion Or Incrustation Of Metals
(AREA)
Abstract
A pretreatment method for metal substrates corrosion prevention includes providing a silane coupling agent with three alkyl groups. Hydrolysis occurs to produce silanol monomer when the silane coupling agent with three alkyl groups is under alkaline or acidity environments. Condensation reaction was occurs from the silanol monomer to produce oligomers. Lastly, be utilizing dipping, spray or coating, silane thin films were formed on the metal's surface. The present invention is a green chemical fabrication method that will not harm the human body and the environment. The corrosion prevention efficiency is also improved substantially.
