Abstract

The present invention relates to a lens module and a camera module having it. The lens module includes a lens barrel, at least one plastic lens and a UV/IR cut filter. The plastic lens is disposed in the lens barrel. The UV/IR cut filter is disposed in the lens module near the object side. The lens module can prevent plastic lens from ultraviolet irradiation by the UV/IR cut filter disposed in the lens module near the object side, and thereby improving the life of the lens module.
