Abstract

This invention relates to a wall screw and its one-step operation method. The wall screw includes a screw with a head, a sleeve fit over the screw and a drill bit capped to a tip of the screw in a non-rotating manner. The sleeve is a tubular body having opposite ends, of which one end has an outer circumference forming an external thread and is provided with a stopper. At the other end of the sleeve forms a coupling section. Between the external thread and the coupling section, multiple deformable strips are connected. A central bore with two open ends is defined through the sleeve. The opening at the end with the external thread has a size greater than the screw, while the opening at the end with the coupling section has a size smaller than the screw. To fix the wall screw to a wall, the screw is rotated to have drill bit drilling and forming a hole in the wall, and the external thread of the sleeve is screwed into the hole in the wall. The coupling section of the other end is driven by the screw to rotate and is twisted by the driving by the deformable strips to move toward the end of the external thread, so that each deformable strips is caused to helically twist and expand outward.
