Abstract

The present invention relates to a soft-switching power converter circuit, comprising a power switch, an output rectification diode connected to the power switch, and a buffer circuit connected between the power switch and an output terminal, wherein the buffer circuit comprises the first/second buffering diodes connected in series between the power switch and the output terminal, a buffering inductor connected in series between the output rectification diode and the output terminal, a first buffering capacitor connected between a node of the output rectification diode/buffering inductor and a node of the first/second buffering diodes, and a second buffering capacitor connected in parallel between two ends of the first buffering diode, whereby by means of the previously described circuit, the buffering inductor may suppress the reversed restoration current of the output rectification diode and, at the switching of the power switch, the second buffering capacitor may control the potential of the power switch to gradually rise so as to suppress the voltage peak during the switching. These features are realized with reduced elements.
