Abstract
An objective of the present invention is to simplify a construction of vacuum cooling means. A cooling apparatus provided in the present invention includes a cooling chamber 2 for receiving a cooled object 3, a heat exchanger for cooling 9 provided in the cooling chamber 2, a vacuum cooling means 4 cooing the cooled object 3 by depressing the cooling chamber 2, and a control means 6 controlling the operation of the vacuum cooling means 4. Said vacuum cooling means 4 comprises a depressing means 16 provided in a depressing line 15 connected to the cooling chamber 2, and a switching valve 17 provided between the cooling chamber 2 and the depressing means 16. The control means 6 is adapted to in sequence perform a first vacuum cooling step of opening the switching valve 17 and depressing the cooling chamber 2 by the operation of the depressing means 16, and a second vacuum cooling step of closing the switching valve 17, stopping the operation of the depressing means 16 and starting the operation of the heat exchanger for cooling 9.
