Abstract

The invention provides a gas-insulated switchgear which can be miniaturized while using an insulative gas having less contribution to global warming. The gas-insulated switchgear is configured so that a breaker and a disconnector are supported in a state where they are electrically insulated from a sealed container in the sealed container in which an insulative gas is enclosed. In the switchgear, a light-shielding vacuum breaker never leaking an arc light in current disconnection to the outside of the vacuum container is used as the breaker, the inside of the sealed container provided with the light-shielding vacuum breaker is filled with CF3I of not less than 40% by volume ratio, and is encapsulated with a mixed gas mixed with an insulation gas having a liquidizing temperature lower than that of the CF3I and a global warming factor smaller than that of SF6, and the gas pressure of the mixed gas is set at 0.1-0.3 MPa*abs.
