Abstract
This invention provides an indium oxide powder capable of suppressing the formation of voides within a sintered body of ITO when the sintered ITO is being made by mixing the indium oxide powder with a tin oxide powder and burning the mixture. The indium oxide powder has particle size ranges of volume standard particle distribution, measured by a laser diffraction scattering type particle distribution measuring method, of more than 0.2 μm and less then 1.0 μm, more than 1.0 μm and less than 4.0 μm, as well as more than 4.0 and less than 50.0 μm, and a peak in each range.
