Abstract

To provide a garbage treatment apparatus capable of uniformly feeding crushing water in an automatic water feeding mode in a hopper. A lid 8 for covering an upper part of a hopper 3 consists of an upper lid 8a and a middle lid 8b. A tap water introduction and distribution unit 80 is provided inside the lid so as to be communicated with a water feed port 18 of the middle lid. The tap water introduction and distribution unit 80 consists of a water pouring bulkhead part 80A and a guide bulkhead part 80B. The water pouring bulkhead part is provided on a bottom face of the middle lid continuous to the water feed port. A slope part 85 projecting to the upper lid side is provided on an inner surface of the water pouring bulkhead part. The guide bulkhead part is provided on the upper lid so that a part thereof faces the water pouring bulkhead part. The induction bulkhead part consists of a water introduction passage 81a and a convergence passage 81b, guides the crushing water fed inside the middle lid to the convergence part located at the center of the upper lid, and distributes the water over the entire bottom face of the middle lid from the convergence part. By guiding the crushing water to the center of the upper lid, and distributing the water, the crushing water runs through the entire bottom face of the middle lid. The crushing water is fed inside the hopper via a spray port formed in the middle lid.
