Abstract

A method for commodity management by means of combining the peer-to-peer metwork and the commodity management database on the purpose of improving efficiency of commodity management. Having the simplicity and cost efficiency in building peer-to-peer networks, in which each node plays both roles of a client and a server simultaneously, all commodity resources open to be shared among nodes, accordingly expanding the applications for commodity management. Also regarded in this invention are a system and a method for electronic commerce. Incumbent systems of electronic commerce are centralized websites in majority, revolving around servers, which are high in building and maintenance costs and cause concern to promotion due to their structural limitations. Applying the said commodity management method, a decentralized electronic commerce system can be built to alleviate the above problems through resource sharing. With the flexible electronic commerce transaction method, users will be able to take full control over transactio decisions, binding by no website policy.
