Abstract

This invention is to enhance the portability of a bicycle by reducing the size and weight and facilitate attachment to/detachment from the bicycle, wherein a bicycle stand is detachably mounted to a body of the bicycle. This bicycle stand is provided with a hollow main body column having opened both ends and externally fitted to a crank of the bicycle from a tip part in a pedal side so as to be inserted/removed in the longitudinal direction. On a side wall of an end part in the insertion/removal side of the main body column, a pedal shaft insertion groove opened in the end part and externally fitted to a pedal shaft is formed. Inside the main body column, a pair of earth stays capable of being pulled out from a pull-out end part in a side opposite to the side where the pedal shaft insertion groove is formed is loaded. One ends of the respective pulled-out earth stays are held in the pull-out end part side of the main body column, and the other ends are expanded toward the bicycle side so as to be separated from each other.
